Bright Seeds is a leading seed merchant based in the UK that produces a range of harvested wildflower mixtures, sourced from established meadows across the Wessex regions.

Following 30 years in the seed sector, we are proud to supply quality seed for species-rich grassland habitats that can assist companies with biodiversity net gain units, conservation projects and landscaping.

We have developed a portfolio of donor sites which we harvest in rotation, visiting a variety of habitat and soil types. Each site is sustainably harvested using plot combines, with the collections dried and cleaned to produce a ready to sow wildflower mix. Through the use of combines we increase the seed return to the field – further benefitting the sites’ biodiversity.

This portfolio enables us to match sites with customers on a geographical basis to guarantee local provenance, which means we can provide information on exactly where the seed originally came from. Furthermore, our competitively priced harvested mixes have a higher wildflower to grass content when compared to typical 80/20 mixes, meaning more wildflower for your money.
